Free expert consultation from our clinical staff, free pick-up and lab supplies for voluntary and full-time physicians, and a test menu of more than 2,500 routine and specialized tests.

Reporting

Connection to the Clinical Information System provides access to inpatient and outpatient laboratory data, with rapid turnaround time for all in-house testing.

Consultation

Our pathologists are available to discuss questions and concerns with physicians and care teams. Personal service is central to our community-based model.

Specialized Testing

Flow cytometric analysis, cytogenetics, DNA probe-based testing for infectious disease analysis, PCR, FISH, and other molecular tests through specialized reference laboratory associations.

Billing

We provide in-network billing and claim denial service. For billing questions, the legacy site identifies APS Medical Billing as the billing contact.

Florence Pathology Services was the first lab in Alabama, north of Birmingham, to offer the Cytyc ThinPrep Imaging System. We perform a wide range of gynecologic and non-gynecologic services in addition to the ThinPrep Pap Test.
